Build your bankroll with this Knicks same-game parlay

Happy Friday, hopefully you've had a better start to your morning than Scottie Scheffler did. We'll touch on the PGA Championship (and the Preakness) below the fold, but let's pocket a reasonable same-game parlay tonight in the NBA to take us into the weekend.

Knicks SGP tonight (-115 DraftKings)

The New York Knicks have such a short rotation that it makes the trends all the more trustworthy for tonight's Game 6 in Indiana. We've got three such players and prop numbers we feel most confident in, with quick nuggets on each.

Josh Hart 10+ boards

  • Hart is averaging 12.2 rebounds per game this postseason
  • This series vs. Indiana, Hart has 11+ boards in four of five, including 18 in Game 3 in Indiana. The lone miss was a blowout where the Knicks rested Hart (24 minutes)
  • When Hart plays 40+ minutes, he's hit this mark in 70% of his games this season

Miles McBride 10+ points

  • McBride has seen an uptick in minutes due to some injuries, averaging 33.6 minutes per game over his last three games
  • He has 10+ points in all three of those games, including 16 and 17 in his last two
  • In the 24 games in which McBride has logged 28+ minutes, he averages 16.7 points per game

Jalen Brunson 5+ assists

  • Brunson has 5+ dimes in 80% of his games this year
  • This series, he has hit this mark each time, and this postseason, he's gone for 5+ in all 11 games, averaging 7.5
  • On the road, Brunson has averaged 9.2 assists per game in these playoffs

Nothing crazy on our end, just a bankroll-builder parlay built around New York's limited rotation of contributors. Again, you can find this on DraftKings at -115. Good luck!

In the news ...

Scottie Scheffler arrested and released this morning headed to Valhalla, Xander Schauffele ties lowest-ever round in a major championship — There haven't been many stories weirder to wake up to than this one out of Kentucky this morning. Scottie Scheffler was arrested on his way to the golf course for driving through a police scene in his attempt to reach the course gates. He was later released and made his tee time, but what the heck is going on there? Yes, we obviously need to bet on this outrageous start to the day leading to a legacy round, we're betting Scheffler goes under 68.5 today when sportsbooks open his lines back up.

Meanwhile, there have been four 62s shot in the history of PGA major championships, and Xander Schauffele now has two of them. His nine-under Thursday has him sitting at +260 to win the PGA Championship at time of writing, and his opening round is tied for the best start to a tournament in major history.

Preakness Stakes Saturday — The second leg of the Triple Crown is this Saturday with the running of the 149th Preakness Stakes at Pimlico. Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan is currently the 5-1 favorite with Muth being scratched, and with rain in the forecast, we're betting Mystik Dan. The Derby winner's calling card has been his strength in the mud, and with that seeming likely to be the track conditions this weekend, we'd be remiss to not have a bet in our pocket on another big win for the horse. Action Network experts break down the race in more detail, and Imagination (6-1) and Tuscan Gold (8-1) are the two most popular options the team likes on Saturday.

Rangers move on to Eastern Conference Final, Timberwolves force Game 7 — The New York Rangers climbed out of a 3-1 hole thanks to a Chris Kreider hat trick, beating Carolina 4-3 and moving on to the Eastern Conference Final. They'll await the winner of the Florida-Boston series, and are currently +320 to win it all. In the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves absolutely obliterated the Nuggets to take back some momentum, forcing the best two words in sports: Game 7. The Nuggets are five-point favorites at home, with the game set for Sunday evening. We're betting Minnesota +5 in what we expect to be a battle.
