The 24-year-old was injured on Sunday night and forced to leave the Brewers' game against the Miami Marlins. Tagging up at third base in the first inning, Adames slid into home, appearing to roll his ankle. He attempted to stay in the game but exited after playing the field in the bottom half of the inning.
Willy Adames is frustrated to miss time on the IL with the left ankle injury, but he’s hopeful it’ll be the minimum time. “I’m just a guy following orders.” He’ll continue treatment and start jogging in the pool.
